The Edgewater Hotel, on Seattle's downtown waterfront,

lobby view is truly stunning, with a comfortable lounge and fireplace for guests to enjoy.
During our stay, many guests relaxed in the lounge. Next to the lounge is a nightclub with
full bar, huge wall television, and more views of Seattle's Puget Sound
waterfront.
Throughout the hotel, natural woods and Northwest
style plaids bring a unique sense of design to your stay. Unlike even a top quality
Marriott, Hyatt, or Hilton-the difference of the Edgewater is unique style. Some of the
great features of our room included: gas-log fireplace; rain shower bathtub; Corian
countertops; ample supplies of top quality shampoo, conditioner, and lotion; Starbucks
coffee; room electronic thermostat; thick bathrobes; top quality thick down comforter; and
hardwood bathroom floors. Basically, the room was incredible with unique Northwest style.
Throughout the hotel-from the valet parking-to check-in, the service reflected a strong
interest in the guest's satisfaction. Many rooms have full Puget Sound views- our room had
a great view of Seattle's Space Needle. One minor point: the rooms facing the street also
face the waterfront trolley that generates some night-time noise.
Throughout the hotel, including in the rooms, unique
art adorns the wall. The windows included custom draperies and levelor blinds.
Our discounted room rate in August was $155 per night, plus $16 per day parking.
Typical rates average $200 per night. The hotel is within an easy walk to the
Pike's Place Market that thrives with fresh produce, delicious treats, and
special gifts. The Market is the home to the "flying fish" salmon store you have
seen on television! The Edgewater Hotel on Seattle's downtown waterfront is
highly recommended after our editor's stay in summer.
