Bellevue is is a thriving suburban office center with
great restaurants and shopping. Bellevue is extremely convenient to
Microsoft's corporate campus in Redmond, and an easy drive to Seattle (outside of rush
hour traffic).
The Westin Bellevue and Hyatt Bellevue are
towering, great quality hotels within a mecca of upscale suburban
restaurants, shopping, and theaters. Both hotels are located very close to
Microsoft’s main Redmond, Washington campus and feature high-end services
targeted at business travelers and Seattle vacationers. Bellevue’s
convenience to downtown Seattle – but while maintaining an orderly “suburban
feel” makes it a perfect business center for your trip to Microsoft’s
Redmond campus.

The Westin Bellevue's Heavenly Bed
Two large shopping malls surround the Westin Bellevue and Hyatt Bellevue –
Lincoln Square and Bellevue Square. Bellevue Square is one of the largest
Seattle Eastside malls – featuring a who’s who of high-end mall stores anchored
by Nordstrom and Macy’s. The malls also feature two multi-plex cinema’s to enjoy
your favorite movies in full surround sound. Lincoln Square has added extensive
additional parking; many new restaurants, private condominiums, and the Westin
Bellevue.

Restaurant Guide:
The real allure of your stay at these hotels – is
the convenient walk to a huge list of great restaurants at Bellevue Square and
Lincoln Square (adjacent) including:
Trader Vic’s – Tiki style super high-end eatery
opened at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square in March 2006. Excellent food and highly
recommended.
The Cheesecake Factory – This place is a machine
– always crowded – always loud. Delicious cheesecake and known for massive meal
portions. People line up nightly for their place at the factory.
Rock Bottom Brewery – They make their own
delicious beers and serve them up with well matched steaks, sandwiches, and
ribs.
The Tap House – Largest list of beers in Bellevue
and great meals to go with them.
P.F. Chang’s China Bistro – King of the suburban
Asian meal – with spicy dishes inspired by Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Japan…
Restaurant Luciano – Italian.
McCormick & Schmick’s – Top quality steaks and
seafood in a romantic setting.
Maggiano’s Little Italy – Bustling upscale
Italian eatery with family style servings for larger groups. Highly recommended.
Manzana
Rotisserie Grill – A mid-price
quality eatery featuring rotisserie grilled meats. Also open for breakfast.
California Pizza Kitchen – Everyone
knows their out-of-this world pizzas…

Travertine Tile in the Westin Bellevue Bathroom
The Westin was built in 2005 to serve the needs
of business travelers to the Microsoft campus and Seattle vacationers looking
for a top-quality hotel. Service is incredible – and the rooms are decorated in
a beautiful style. Room furnishings are great quality – we loved the thick
towels and chaise lounges. The hotel features restaurants, a pool, and full
health club. An adjacent area of private condominiums proves out the allure –
even to Bellevue locals – of this location at the center of everything.

Our room
included a flat screen LCD television; cordless telephone; electronic safe;
mini-bar; and thick, fluffy blankets on a heavenly bed. Westin does it all – and
the prices average $200 - $300 per night if you shop around. We highly recommend
the Westin based on our stay. The Hyatt Bellevue is a great quality hotel with
many of the same service and features as the Westin. In general – Hyatt occupies
a slightly lower brand position in the Starwood hierarchy – but is a tremendous
hotel by any measure with all of the same location advantages.
